Our “Doula,” a Greek word
meaning, “ to mother the mother,” will help educate the new
parents in caring for their newborn; such as breast-feeding,
bathing, or just sharing ways to help calm a fussy baby.
She will also care for the baby so the new Mom can get the
rest she needs in order to recover from her labor and
delivery. In addition, the Doula, may prepare nutritious
meals, run errands, and perform light housekeeping.
We care for other siblings, as well as offer a popular night
shift which allows Mom and Dad an uninterrupted night’s sleep.
